I get bronchitis once-a-year like clockwork. What I love about my doctor is that she’s so knowledgeable and always thinks holistically for me. She holds off on dumping medications, antibiotics, steroids, and inhalers on me right off the bat, and helps me try things that are over-the-counter or in my diet first. She proactively monitors my symptoms and if I’m not getting better, she’ll adjust my options accordingly. I believe in doctors, and I trust her completely.
My grandson was born with complications in a cold, snowy winter. After he left the NICU and made it home, my doctor would visit him and his mother at home, checking in on him in-person weekly and calling in-between. She came by the house so my daughter could recover and the baby wouldn’t be forced to brave the snowy January weather. That just meant so much to us as a family.
I love the easy access to my doctor and love the one-on-one time. There’s no time limit. She hears what we have to say, and she performs thorough exams to find the root causes. When she treats us, she treats us like we’re her only patients. We’re not cattle in a line and onto the next person. And I know she does that for all of her patients. She’s remarkable.
Beth's doctor helps her manage chronic conditions by holistically treating the source, not just the symptoms. She found her doctor a few years ago, and has warmly welcomed them into her home and into her family.
