If you’ve recently experienced certain life changes, you may be eligible for a Special Enrollment Period which will allow you to enroll, change coverage, or add someone to your plan outside of the Open Enrollment Period. These life changes, referred to as Qualifying Life Events can include losing insurance you get through a job, marriage, divorce,  pregnancy, or having a baby.

You have 60 days from the date this qualifying life event takes place to enroll in or update your insurance through Healthcare.Gov (CoverME.Gov if you live in Maine)
